Sodexo has announced that Neil Murray has been appointed Region Chair for Sodexo UK and Ireland.

Neil will succeed Debbie White who has been appointed CEO for Healthcare worldwide in addtion to her recently acquired role of CEO for Government and Agencies worldwide which includes responsibility for justice, defence and government services globally.

Debbie has lead the business in the UK and Ireland for the last three and a half years and achieved successful and sustained growth over that time.

Neil joined Sodexo UK&I in 2009 from facilities maintenance company GSH Group plc where he was managing director for its UK and Ireland business.  Since 2009, Neil has led Sodexo’s Corporate Services division and, in 2012, managed the integration of Atkins asset management business. Under his leadership, Sodexo has experienced significant growth in its provision of integrated FM contracts and in large global services contracts and Neil has played a critical part in ensuring that Sodexo delivers services which improve the quality of life of its clients and customers.

The UK and Ireland regional leadership committee will report into Neil and he will continue his responsibilities as CEO for Corporate Services, UK & Ireland.

Debbie White said, ‘It has been a pleasure to lead the UK and Ireland over the last three years and I am very proud of what has been achieved during that time. I am excited about my new global roles and wish Neil every success in his new role’.

Neil Murray said, ‘I am delighted to be appointed as the new Region Chair for the UK and Ireland and will work closely with Debbie to ensure a smooth transition.’

These changes are part of Sodexo’s recent transformation to a new structure with global segments.
