World FM Day 2026: Celebrating our people behind exceptional places

World FM Day 2026 is an opportunity to recognise the vital role facilities management plays in shaping how people experience the built environment.

This year’s theme, “Cultivating belonging through built environments,” highlights the importance of creating spaces that not only function well, but foster connection, wellbeing and inclusion.

As ways of working evolve, facilities management is enabling smarter, more connected workplaces - bringing together technology, sustainability and service excellence to help people thrive. From daily operations to strategic delivery, FM teams are at the heart of the workplace experience.

FM professionals ensure workplaces are safe, efficient and aligned to organisational goals, delivering impact across:

  • Sustainability – reducing environmental impact and supporting net zero
  • Workplace experience – creating safe, inclusive and welcoming spaces
  • Operational excellence – delivering efficient, future-ready services

On World FM Day, we celebrate the people who make this possible every day. Meet some of our FM leaders below.
