Sodexo scooped eleven awards across its business at the 2014 International Safety Awards in April.

Sodexo Justice Services received four awards with HMP Peterborough being awarded a distinction, and HMP Addiewell, HMP Bronzefield and HMP Forest Bank picking up merits.

Sodexo Healthcare sites Central Manchester Hospital and North Staffordshire Hospital picked up distinctions while Wythenshawe Hospital and Tillery Valley Foods, Sodexo’s prepared foods business in south Wales, received merits.

The overall business of Sodexo Corporate Services was recognised in the ceremony with a merit and for the fifteenth consecutive year Sodexo Remote Sites was also recognised with a merit.

Sodexo’s team in Scotland were honoured in the first ever Sector Awards - for outstanding safety operations in the Hotel, Catering & Hospitality category.

The awards recognise competence in terms of health and safety management systems and the winners are chosen from over 500 entries each year after careful adjudication by an independent panel of chartered health and safety professionals.
