Triple win for Sodexo at Workplace Excellence Awards
Workplace services provider Sodexo Ireland has won three awards at the 2024 Workplace Excellence Awards in Dublin on Thursday 20th June 2024, for Excellence in Disability Awareness in the Workplace; the Excellence in Leadership Award and the Corporate Social Responsibility Award.
The Awards, now in their second year, recognise companies and professionals who are engaged in bringing improvements and innovative solutions into the workplace to ensure a positive and thriving environment.
Sodexo won the Corporate Social Responsibility Award for its long-term charity partnership with A Lust for Life, the award-winning mental health charity for young people, which it supports by funding and fundraising for its free junior and senior infants schools’ programme. To date, with Sodexo’s support, 1,131 schools have delivered the programme to 77,901 pupils.
Sodexo won the Excellence in Disability Award for its ‘Ability’ employee network which focuses on disability from a workplace, workforce, client, and consumer perspective. The network helps to raise awareness about disability, encourage inclusion and raise awareness of the contribution which disabled people can make in the workplace.
Michael Galkin won the Excellence in Leadership Award for his leadership and teamwork skills and his work with one of Sodexo’s largest clients in creating a showcase campus, demonstrating the high standards and best practices of the company’s integrated facilities management (IFM) services.
