Employee networks driving inclusivity

My culture and me campaignIn the UK in 2016 Sodexo launched the Culture and Origins employee network.  The network aims to encourage inclusivity and cohesion amongst our employees by celebrating everyone’s cultures, heritage and beliefs and by promoting equal opportunities for all.

Network activities have included a ‘my culture and me campaign’, mentoring programme for our colleagues from a Black, Asian and minority ethnic (BAME) background, and a speaker series with internal and external role models.

Breakfast with Binna - modern racism in the workplace

On 21 May 2019, Sodexo hosted a breakfast event on the subject of Modern Racism in the Workplace in recognition of World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development.


We were delighted to welcome guests and an audience from diverse industries for an engaging and interactive seminar led by Professor Binna Kandola OBE, a leading speaker and author.
