Sodexo appoints new managing director for Independent Education

Sodexo has appointed Jeremy Alderton as managing director for Independent Education.

Jeremy started his career with Sodexo in 1988 and has had a number of roles in operations and sales, in both the corporate services and education segments.

Currently the sales director for Sodexo Education in the UK and Ireland, Jeremy will take up his new post on 1 February.

Jane Bristow, managing director of Sodexo Education, said: “Jeremy brings with him a wealth of valuable experience in the education market. He has a strong craft background that is especially relevant for the newly-launched Independents by Sodexo food offer. This is an incredibly important role for the Education segment and I am confident Jeremy’s business development and craft focus will prove to be a powerful combination.”
