Sodexo, a leading provider of on-site service solutions, has announced its contract with the Home Office has been extended for a further two years.

Sodexo has provided helpdesk and asset information services across the Home Office estate portfolio since 2008, and will continue to do so until 2015.

Tony Edwards, head of property at the Home Office said: "Sodexo’s asset information and helpdesk service has proved its worth in providing independent real time reports to our facilities managers on our out-sourced asset management services. Their helpdesk is a market leader in their response times. We are very pleased to have been able to extend their contract for a further two years."

The decision to renew the contract comes shortly after it was announced that Sodexo had jointly won the Home Office Supplier Recognition Award for Innovation for implementing a systems integration solution.

Andrew Wilkinson, managing director of Sodexo Property Solutions, said: “Our close working relationship with the Home Office has allowed us to innovate around our shared processes and systems to create a great service. We continue to see the market recognising the value of outsourced management services in both the private and public sectors – reaffirming the significant engagement we have made with key clients such as the Home Office.”
