Simon Pears has been honoured with a Fellowship to the International Professional Security Association (IPSA).

The accolade follows Simon’s recognition as a Chartered Security Professional and is testament to the outstanding support he’s provided for IPSA.

Just two weeks ago Sodexo announced Simon as global security director, to enhance their capability in providing global professional security services.

Simon was instrumental in establishing and delivering Secure by Sodexo, its security offer. It has been extremely successful in providing clients with professional security services and is now ranked in the top 1% of security providers for quality delivery in the UK.

Michael White, the chairman of IPSA, said: “Simon has continuously demonstrated his commitment to IPSA. He has encouraged others to become part of the association, participated on the Management Board and International Council, represented the association on industry committees at both national and international level, and generously supported the sourcing of unique venues for our events.

“It is an absolute pleasure and honour to be able to present Simon with his Fellowship and justifiably mark his immense contribution, not only to IPSA, but to the UK security industry.”
