Sodexo Ireland has been awarded Qualsec Platinum, the highest possible accreditation given by the Irish Security Industry Association (ISIA).

Sodexo is only one of six member companies in Ireland to achieve this status.

Sarah O’Donnell, communications director with the ISIA, said, “Qualsec is a three-tier quality standard that allows our members to truly stand apart from the wider industry and demonstrates a commitment to standards that exceed the minimum requirements of regulation.

"For a company like Sodexo to achieve Platinum status, the criteria is especially rigorous and also requires ISO certification from Excellence Through People and a robust corporate social responsibility policy.”

Margot Slattery said, “We’re delighted that the quality of the security services provided to our clients has been recognised at such a high level. My thanks to our national security manager Mark Death and his colleague Stephen Giles for their excellent work in managing the ISIA auditing process and ensuring that all the necessary requirements were met in order for us to attain the very demanding Platinum status.”

Sodexo Ireland delivers services that improve the quality of life to clients in business and industry, education, financial services and healthcare. It employs approximately 2,000 staff in 200 locations in the Republic and Northern Ireland.
